The development of the on-line games also come after the internet. Because the sounds and images are very attractive, the one-line games players are younger than before. It is very common for the high grades of elementary school students involved in. The purpose of this study discuss the relevant factors for the on-line games of the high grades of elementary school students. The study is implied to the high grades of elementary school students in Kaohsiung City and 667 effective questionnaires was obtained in 2006 academic year. This way to survey the high grades of the elementary school students. The data was analyzed with the methods of Chi-square test, Independent t-test, One-way ANOVA, Multiple Regression Analysis. The results of this study were as following: 1. Most of elementary school students play on-line games for free. The ratio of player and the students without playing on-line game is 2:3. Role play games is their favorite. 2. About more than 30% elementary school students begin playing on-line games when they are 2nd grades. The average age of playing on-line games is lowering. The parents still limit children to play on-line games by the same token. The parents from high social status and the school’s location in the city would be very strict with the children for computer use. 3. The different background variables affect the lifestyle and the involvement of high grade of elementary school students obviously. 4. Several background variables, lifestyle, and the situation of involving in on-line games would effectively explain the high grade of elementary school students’ motive of playing on-line games. 5. Several background variables, lifestyle, the situation of involving in on-line games, and the motive of playing on-line games would explain effectively the students’ transaction behaviors in on-line games. Finally, according to the result of the study, there are three practical suggestions were provided to those related education and students counseling organizations, parents, and researchers as the references in the future.
