Xia Man-Lan Bo An learns ecological knowledge and the respect toward the environment from daily life then turn them into the inner wisdom which can make the environment and the resource remain stable. According to the content of The Land Ethic, both Ke-Xiang Liu and Xia Man-Lan Bo An’s works are similar to the land ethic. The environmental concern of these two authors expend from the individuals to the wholes. They think the natural resource should be used under the prerequisite of remaining the whole system stable. The difference between these two authors is the execution of the land ethic.
