She hopes to present the nature of beauty through observing the nature. The thesis is divided into six chapters. In the first chapter, it discusses her motive, purpose and scope of the research. Due to the profound influence Oriental Fine Art has on her, she tries to put its essence into her works, such as emptiness, literary concepts, and the omission of “I.” Via observing the nature, she tries to realize the poetic beauty in a philosophic and literary touch. In the second chapter, it discusses her inspiration and theory. Inspiration and vision within mind are her sources of creation. The theory begins with the philosophic and literary beauty lying in painting, thus extending to Arthur Schopenhauer’s aesthetics and Wong Guo-Wei’s theory of combining personal feelings and the surroundings. She tries to discover the profoundness of art via philosophy and literature alike. The third chapter discusses background and elements for her creation. The application of gold and silver foil, the life of nature, and the poetic beauty are the background and elements for her works. The fourth chapter discusses the content and technique of her creation. By displaying the often-omitted surroundings in painting, she conveys the idea of “To see the world in a grain of sand, and heaven in a wild flower.” (By William Blake) She applies her techniques and materials to present the poise of flowers, associative thinking of cloud, and the city edge. She interprets her works via analyzing the themes, and how they are presented in the fifth chapter. Eventually, chapter six is the conclusion. She shares the individual creative perspective and works, hoping to achieve maturity and advancement in the future. 蘇憲法 2009 學位論文 ; thesis 73 zh-TW
