Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣師範大學 === 教育學系在職進修碩士班 === 97 === This thesis is investigating the status, causing elements, effects and the ways to improve the stereotype of Female Principals Leadership. The method of intensive interviews was adopted by this study to collect data. The result shows that the stereotype of Female Principals Leadership can be summarized and classified into the following categories: The school teachers have the stereotype in opposing to Female Principals Leadership, the school teachers have the negative stereotype to Female Leadership, the stereotype of Female Principals Leadership might cause the gap between the principal and the subordinates, expecting the tender female from the school teachers having a drop height to traditional leadership causing the negative evaluation, the stereotype of Female Principals Leadership having the effects of tender communication, the patriarchal society causing the female principals to have the characteristics in taking after people, the reflection of female characteristics in home education causing the stereotype of leadership, there is no complete and objective model of female leadership in the environment of schooling, bad effects from the school teachers accepting the stereotype of the female leadership passively, the school teachers thinking that they should contact with the female principal more to get well known to her leadership, female principals should perform more self-examination and professional leadership to improve the stereotype of Female Principals Leadership. According to the conclusion of this thesis, the suggestions are listed below: 1. Suggestions to school teachers. a. Monitor the leadership of female principals in multiple viewpoints. b. Do not limit the behaviors of female principals just because she is female. c. Evaluate the behavior of female principals in objective viewpoints. 2. Suggestions to principals a. Improve the major ability in leading. b. Improve the ability of self-examination. c. Develop the personal leading characteristics. d. Well use the stereotype of leadership.
