Data was collected from 189 correspondents from related professionals, including psychiatrist, occupational therapist, psychologist, nurse, social worker, and vocational services. An exploratory factor analysis validated the structures of the questionnaire “Predictors of employment outcomes of persons with psychiatric disability: perceptions of related professionals” on five dimensions : employment readiness, work skills, personal characteristics, illness characteristics, and psychiatric rehabilitation. The result of the survey found that employer and co-worker’s acceptance of persons with psychiatric disabilities, as well as persons with psychiatric disabilities’ attitudes toward work were the most important predictors of employment outcomes from the perceptions of related professionals. The personal characteristics were the least important predictors of employment outcomes. No significant differences were found among correspondents with different background. Conclusions and recommendations were provided for further study and vocational rehabilitation practice. Hsin-Tai Lin 林幸台 2009 學位論文 ; thesis 104 zh-TW
