Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 社會科教育學系碩士班 === 98 === The purpose of this research is to understand the current situation of leisure participation, leisure space and the degree of satisfaction of leisure space of sixth grade students of public elementary schools in the Tucheng City and Dounan Town; discuss the difference in leisure participation, leisure space and the degree of satisfaction of leisure space between different backgrounds. This research collects data through questionnaire survey. The research tool is “ The questionnaire on leisure participation and leisure space of students of public elementary schools . The survey is obtained using cluster sampling; there are 652 effective samples. The data is analyzed by the statistical methods of descriptive statistics, T-test, One-Way ANOVA, and Pearson product-moment correlation. The main findings of the research can be summarized as follows: 1. The frequency of leisure participation of elementary school students is almost moderate, and they participate “the amusement and rest leisure” leisure activities most often. 2. The type of leisure participation of elementary school students will differ due to the difference in residential region, gender, a one-parent family or not, and family’s social-economical status. 3. The most often leisure activities of elementary school students are those low technical and low difficulty activities among everyday life. 4. Living in urban elementary school students are more often engaged in indoor leisure activities, and the village elementary school students are more often engaged in outdoor recreational activities. 5. Internet has become important rest and recreation medium to elementary school students. 6. The frequency of the choice of leisure space of elementary school students is almost moderate, and they most often chooses “the public space” to participate leisure activities. 7. The choice of leisure space of elementary school students will differ due to the difference in residential region, gender ,and family’s social-economical status. 8. The location of leisure is mainly the location around everyday life. 9. The frequency of the choice of art space of elementary school students is low, the cultural accomplishment still need to be promoted. 10. The degree of satisfaction of leisure space of elementary school students is higer, and the most satisfied type of leisure space is “the leisure space of outside area ”. 11. The degree of satisfaction of leisure space of elementary school students will differ due to different residential region, gender ,and family’s social-economical status. 12. There were positive significant relationship between leisure space and the degree of satisfaction of leisure space of elementary school students. Finally, according to the findings some suggestions are present for parents, schools, related government departments, and future researchers as reference.
