Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 體育學系碩士班 === 98 === The main purpose of this research was to realize users’ participation motivation and leisure benefits of Yang Ming Sport Park in Taoyuan City, and to probe into the differences based on various variables of demographic backgrounds. Subjects of the study were 429 citizens who had ever utilized Yang Ming Sport Park between Feb. 5th and Feb. 8th in 2009. A self-made questionnaire was taken as the research tool with regard to users’ participation motivation and leisure benefits of Yang Ming Sport Park. The data derived from the investigation were analyzed by descriptive statistics, independent samples t-test, one-way ANOVA, and scheffe’s method. The research results were as follows : 1. Most of the users of Yang Ming Sport Park in Taoyuan City had the following features : male, aged between 20 to 39, college graduate, involving in commercial and service industry and student, married, living in Dashulin District of Taoyuan City, and using two or three times per week. They mostly utilized the park during holidays and usually in the evening from 17:00 pm to 19:00 pm. They were majorly accompanied with families. 2. In respect of users’ participation motivation of Yang Ming Sport Park, “healthy life” ranked the highest, followed by “stress release” and “social contact”. “self-development” ranked the lowest. 3. In respect of users’ leisure benefits of Yang Ming Sport Park, “healthy release of stress” ranked the highest, followed by “social contact”. “self-actualization” ranked the lowest. 4. Users’ participation motivation of Yang Ming Sport Park in Taoyuan City did not significantly differ, considering various demographic backgrounds of education level and in habited area ; other items including gender, age, occupation, marital status, frequency of use, the most using time, the most using period, and type of companion were all proved to be significantly different. 5. Users’ leisure benefits of Yang Ming Sport Park in Taoyuan City did not significantly differ, considering various demographic backgrounds of education level, inhabited area and the most using time; other items including gender, age, occupation, marital status, frequency of use, the most using period, and type of companion were all proved to be significantly different.
