碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 課程與教學研究所 === 97 === The purpose of this study is to cultivate the student’s helping behavior in the first grade using Nel Noddings's Caring Ethics. The method of action research is used and the main concepts of this study are as follows: 1. To explore the education strategy of Nel Noddings's Caring Ethics used in cultivating the student’s helping behavior in the first grade. 2. To explore the changes of the student’s spontaneous helping behavior in the first grade during the practicing of the strategy. In this research, we use the method of action research which is qualitative studies oriented. We apply the theory of Nel Noddings's Caring Ethics - modeling, dialogue, practice, and confirmation with the theme of care for self, care for intimate others, care for associates and acquaintances, and care for distant others in the school programs and activities.Within each of these centers,we can find many themes on which to build courses and topical seminars. One of the first grade classes in the north of Taiwan was selected for the six-month trial. After observing, interviewing, data analyzing and reviewing, we figure out the effect of Nel Noddings's Caring Ethics in cultivating the students’ helping behavior in the first grade. We expect the results of the study would be a reference resource in the field of the study for caring and helping behavior.
