Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 藝術與造形設計學系碩士班 === 97 === A human life is an accumulation of age and experience. We are made aware of the accumulations in life because of memories. The starting point is a fragment of memory. We are able to differentiate people, events and matters through memories which had a constant effect on people. Looking back is just facing the future. To extract a fragment of memory is like returning to the old times, linking the memory with the scopes of time. Time is a representation of dynamism. In order to express dynamism within an object, the construct of creation will be based on the concept of coagulation, presenting the active atmosphere through a static state of the creation whilst displaying memory onto a piece of object through designs in “coagulation of the wind”. Like memory, wind is also dynamic. Movement in the wind is a concrete representation of changes in time. The instantaneous nature of coagulation made it possible to understand time through trice, meaning the comprehension of time through the coagulation of the wind in its process of linkage to the memory. In conclusion, wind has achieved the image of an object while memory has become the consciousness of an object. There are five chapters in this dissertation: first chapter describes the origin and motives of the creation; the second states creation ideologies; the third consists of researches on relative creations; the fourth puts focus on the analysis on the form and insights of the creation and; lastly, the fifth chapter concludes with process reflections and future prospects.
