Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 國民教育學系碩士班 === 97 === This research aimed to conduct comprehensive literature reviews to establish a theoretical model analyzing the influence of epistemological beliefs that music-talented students in the elementary school have on their goal orientation, and to probe into the relationship among latent variables within the theoretical model. A total number of 367 music-talented students of higher grade in elementary schools in Taipei County were taken as the research objective, and were investigated through the self-compiled “The Epistemological Belief and Goal Orientation Scale of music-talented Students in the Higher Grade of the Elementary School”. The data were examined by Descriptive Statistics, t-Test of Mean Difference, and Structural Equation Modeling in order to observe the compatibility between the theoretical model and data. It further conducted Simultaneous Analysis of Several Group to find out differences among different background variables. The research results were as follows: 1. Among the epistemological beliefs of music-talented students in the elementary school, their development in simple knowledge was the most mature. 2. The goal orientation of music-talented students in the elementary school inclined to be “Performance Goal Orientation” most. 3. There was no significant difference shown in the epistemological beliefs of different gender and grades elementary school music-talented students. 4. There was no significant variety shown in the performance goal orientation of different grades elementary school music-talented students. 5. The female music-talented students in the elementary school significantly inclined to have the goal orientation of mastery-avoidance and performance-avoidance. 6. The epistemological beliefs of music-talented students in the elementary school did have influence on their goal orientation; the overall compatibility was considered good in general. 7. The epistemological beliefs of music-talented students with different gender or studying in different grades of the elementary school did not have significant influences on their goal orientation. Finally, suggestions were made based on the main discovery of this research, could be the references for relevant educational organizations and following researchers.
