Objective: Exploring the reasons and characteristics of Marital Violence. Finding and describing how the police determine the repeat violence, the treatment to Perpetrators and victims, and the use of resource. Methodology: The In-depth interviews to 3 Domestic Violence Police Officers in charge of 3 domains of Taipei City. The characteristics of victims, use of Domestic Violence information systems, and the treatment of the police are included in interviews. We use 15 victims’ data to do research. Results: About repeat victims: 1.Victims of Chinese nationality and South-East Asia nationality are more than of domestic nationality. 2. Victims were more educated in junior and senior high school. 3.Area of victims born are more in county than in city. 4.Victims were more from core families by 90%. 5. Economy is the key factor of marital violence. Conclusions: The reasons of marital are more from economy and culture. Besides the increase of the treatment frequency of Domestic Violence Police Officer, improving the help systems is a crucial work.
