In recent years, experiential concept has been fused with the processes of numerous activities, namely the human body is regarded as the basis of receiving perception and forming consciousness; this is also the result that is reflected by thoughts, trends, and art forms of the past. People nowadays value art connotation gradually and blend aesthetical experience into the emotional environment; thus, design is influenced by this prevailing trend comprehensively, the spirit of emotive experience has been transformed to the source of creating performance. The extensive areas that emotive experience involves not only affect people’s life style directly, but also extend to the real-life situations such as mass consumption and economical activities; they contain the meanings and values of the new era. From the life style that values hand touch feeling, this study finds that people expect to use various practical behaviors to deepen the phenomenon and trend of life experience. In this study, the emotive experience is regarded as the main objective of discussion, and handicraft is used to illustrate the connection between the exploration of emotive experience, the philosophy of handicraft practice, and cultural connotation, so as to analyze and discuss the extension and creation of emotive consciousness, and then more new social values can be revealed. There are three study motives: First, reappearing the innovative life style of the fusion of handiwork and physical labor values. Second, elaborating how the prioritized directions of sensory perception influence the connection of experience. Third, discussing the knowledge establishment and unification of handiwork and emotive experiential context, and emphasizing the positive implied meaning of emotive experience so as to optimize the values of the public. Craft-related activity is always the epitome of human life, the progress of its work production also confronts all kinds of value transformation tests in the capitalist society. Due to the trends that value diversity, emphasize difference and free will in the post modern environment, the handicrafts have developed to the cultural matter of world recurrence, they also lead the emotive consciousness to match with the perceived experience and humanism trend; all of these are the topics that are needed to be discussed and thought deeply. In the light of these topics, the study objective that this study attempts to analyze and discuss is to deliberate from the viewpoints of body phenomenology and emphasize the importance of practicing what one preaches, so as to explain the emotive experience and the existing value of emotive experiential phenomenon. Secondly, the value of handiwork thinking would be elaborated by tracing back to the development of craft culture so as to explain the development context of handicrafts. And then, the design and performance of handicrafts would be discussed in accordance with the post-modern art trend, so as to show that handicrafts are the meaningful cultural matter that can influence the development of contemporary trend. Lastly, the collective consciousness and design application of hand touch feeling would be analyzed from the perspective of current situation, so as to analyze the consumption style that has emotive economical concept, and the aesthetical thinking of the public would be promoted in the mean time. This study uses document analysis to carry out analysis and discussion, while in-depth interview would also be carried out, expecting to combine the documental theories and practical current situations to set off the central idea. Integrating the explanation of documents and theories and the findings from study exploration, this study divides this topic into five main chapters for discussion. The first chapter is the introduction that includes five sections, which are the explanations of study background, study motive and objective, study scope and limitation, term interpretation, and study method. This chapter mainly discusses the art trend and shaping phenomenon in the contemporary social network, and then extends to the creative design of cultural integration so as to promote the trend discussion of industry; the consumption trend of current emotive economy would be discussed through the manifestation of the emotive value of handiwork behavior. The second chapter regards the production of hand touch feeling as a journey of sensory experience, which focuses on the application and discussion of the perception of human body, so as to correspond to the idea structure of mind and matter integration. This chapter includes three sections. The first section tracks back to the use and creation of hands from the perspective of perception, while this section is divided into the application of human body’s perceived ability and the use of hands to start the culture by tools. The second section is the search of returning from life practice to the human body, it emphasizes obtaining knowledge from actual experience and the introspection of opposing body and mind positions in the traditional philosophy. The third section discusses how emotive experiential trend shows the balance of body and mind, which includes two parts: 1. Discussion on emotive experience in accordance with the viewpoints of body phenomenology; 2. The use of handicraft design to express the emotive experience. This chapter attempts to discuss the experiential progress from perception to integration of body and mind, so as to establish the theory and background of emotive experience. The third chapter is the discussion of diverse directions of contemporary handicrafts. This chapter sums up and elaborates the historical background and culture of handicrafts, which shows that handicrafts reflect the development of times and trends of thought definitely. This chapter is divided into three sections. The first section is the historical origin and current situation of handicrafts; it mainly explains the developmental background and change of handicrafts, and the main definition and idea communication of contemporary handicrafts. The second section is the social and cultural connection of emotive experience and handicrafts, which discusses the relationship between emotive experience and its surroundings, and the social creation and expression of handicraft’s cultural matter. The third section is the influence of post-modern thinking towards the design of handicrafts, which discusses the post-modern spirit of handicrafts and the creation explanation and classification of contemporary handicrafts. The end of this chapter discusses the connection between handicrafts and its surroundings so as to discuss the design connection of emotive experience. The fourth chapter regards how handiwork trend leads the arrival of hand touch economical era as the core, which is divided into three sections for discussion. The first section is the social aspects and prevailing phenomena that involve handicrafts, which is further divided into two sub-sections: 1. The material production relationship of handicrafts influence the upper structure; 2. The drive of contemporary handicrafts trend. The second section is the use of emotive experiential meaning to promote life style, which discusses the collective consciousness and experiential thinking of hand touch direction, and the development chance of investing emotive experiential concept in capitalized activities. The third section is the expression of emotive economical consumption from the emotional experience of handicrafts, which discusses the economical value that is oriented by emotive experience and the consumption benefit of collecting hand touch economy. In view of the above, the fourth chapter is the discussion that based on the handiwork trend to expand to the aspects of social phenomenon and consumption. In the light of the integrated generalization, analysis, interpretation, and findings of this study, the conclusion indicates the influence of this topic and the prospective visions one by one, thereby creating the ideal practice of emotive experiential design. Hopefully, the sincerity of emotive thinking can be blended with the performance of handicrafts, and the connection of emotive experiential concept should be used so as to promote the perception values of each design aspect. This study also concerns about the social common practice and its trend that are brought by the prevalence of experience activities, which regards the life style of handiwork as the profound perception and the motive power of touching off the affection. In the mean time of the start of public consumption and commercialized society, the new trend of emotive economy is used to promote the development of high quality consumptive values; it is even more contributive to the overall promotion of the production and marketing chain of the industry. As a result, the emotive experience becomes the creative source of contemporary design, and its concept is also the advancement of the era’s trend of thought.
