| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺東大學 === 美術產業碩士學位在職進修專班 === 97 === In recent years, the figures are popular in Taiwan. from some point collection of convenience store to exchange figures, there are many enterprises and manufacturers put out the common figures for advertisement. In this "figures culture", include figures intention idea, unique meaning and culture features of collective ethnicity, and even consoles the pressure for people's life.
In fact, figure is like the toy we used to call, but it already developed special industry culture; so there are a lot of abilities to create all come from refining distillation of traditional culture and experience; but if Taiwan wants to get a position in the global village where information and economy explosion, it needs to pay attention to develop the unique industry culture in the place.
"Eight Generals" is the representative of Taiwan traditional temple, it used to get rid of evils, eliminate disasters and have meaning of the five elements, four phases, and also have rigorous groups and serve on the local residents. But seems times changes, the Taiwan general turns to fancy, some parts has already lost traditional culture, and the fierce fight of minority generals casued social antipathy.
This research is exploring figure's popular factors and treating functions, uses its hot and popular propaganda benefit to create treating series ones. It except probes into the Taiwan tradition culture of generals and spirit again, the most important thing is giving new image for facial painting of Eight generals and giving new impression on people kindhearted spirit and artistic value again, let it becomes the unique cultural foundation in Taiwan.
