Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 電機工程系 === 97 === This thesis investigates the design and implementation of a battery charger with a state-of-charge estimator. In this thesis, a half-bridge charger, which includes zero-voltage switching and power factor correction, is implemented. The detailed analysis of the proposed soft-switching technique and power factor correction is discussed. In addition, two methods including a constant-current chargering method and fuzzy-control chargering method, are proposed for the lead-acid-battery in the thesis. A comparison between these two methods is discussed. In the thesis, first, the analysis of the charging circuit is discussed. Next, the hardware design and software design are presented. A digital signal proceesor, TMS320LF2407A, is used as the control center to combine the charger and estimator. The system can automatically adjust the charging current by measuring the battery states. A fuzzy control is proposed to achieve a fast charging requirement. Experimental results validate the correctness and feasibility of the proposed charger and estimator.
