Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立虎尾科技大學 === 創意工程與精密科技研究所 === 97 === Machine tool has been advancing, yet lathe and 3-axis milling machine tools in conventional machining still have considerable market share. This study aimed to identify CNC program machining feature, and develop system of modifying CNC profile rapidly. Normally, CAM plans tool path via CAD file, and the CNC program needed for machining is generated by postprocessor. However, for minor change of profile, engineers have to retrieve the original CAD file and repeat the steps to generate new CNC program. Without the original CAD file, it has to be written manually, which is not only time-consuming, but also leads to numerous program errors. The feature recognition system developed in this study can quickly recognize the original 2D profile of CNC program. In case of milling function the number of all features and layers contained in each feature can be displayed in Feature Tree, and parent-child relationship among features can be known from rank of feature tree. The proposed system combines CAD function, allowing users to modify profile rapidly and send back to feature tree. In terms of lathe, the system recognizes finish machining, displays all feature profile and machining sequence in worksheet, allows users to modify these feature profiles, and finally, exports the new CNC program, so as to achieve function of rapid reconstruction of CNC program. This study also developed intelligent human-machine interface applied in PC-Based controller, which integrates the above functions and provides simulation and collision check functions, so that new CNC program derived from fast modification of profile can be used in rapid simulation and validation.
