Summary:碩士 === 靜宜大學 === 資訊碩士在職專班 === 97 === The rise and wide-spreading of inter-organizational information systems, such as supply-chain management systems, have changed the way of business interaction and competition. The inter-organizational information system not only provides a communication platform for information exchange but also serves as a valuable business medium to strengthen the business partnership. This research explores the underpinning driving forces that cultivate organizational trust and the relationship commitment in achieving inter-organizational process integration. This study investigates the influence of information system quality and influential strategies on trust and relationship commitment of 220 inter-organizational information systems adopters. The findings suggest: 1.The quality of inter-organizational system and influential strategy has positive impact on organizational trust. 2.Organizational trust and relationship commitment have positive impact on inter-organizational cooperation. 3.Inter-organizational cooperation has positive impact on inter-organizational integration. 4.Organizational trust does not have direct impact on inter-organizational integration. This research unfolds the management issues driving to relationship building and inter-organizational process integration. The findings have both theoretical and practical implications: theoretically, this research applies the trust-commitment theory to explain the process achieving inter-organizational cooperation and integration; practically, this research provides evidence that organization should endeavor to cultivate trust of business partners in order to grasp the benefits of inter-organizational information systems.
