Summary:碩士 === 東吳大學 === 社會工作學系 === 97 ===   During these years, outdoor adventure programs have become one of the newest services in youth organizations, but for the time, most research regards adolescents as the object to confer the benefits of the programs. Few researches regard social workers as the object to discuss how they use outdoor adventure programs in helping adolescents to develop. Therefore, this study wants to understand the influence of providing outdoor adventure program services for social workers. That’s one of the two purposes of this study; the other is to address design issues of the outdoor adventure programs.   The research focuses on four aspects:“influences during outdoor adventure programs”,“influences of follow-up services after program”,“helps of follow-up services”and“ suggested design models of outdoor adventure program”.Results indicate that,the influences of outdoor adventure programs include: 1.social workers can understand adolescents better; 2.outdoor adventure programs can serve as adjunctive therapy; 3.social workers can intervene immediately during outdoor adventure programs 4.social work service quality change; 5.social workers use outdoor adventure programs in further treatment and in developing family services.   Regarding helps of follow-up services, research shows that: outdoor adventure programs promote worker- adolescent relationships and adolescents' behaviors begin to change. Moreover, the workers suggest a model of comprehensive planning in designing outdoor adventure programs, and call for careful design of outdoor adventure activities with best of resources. The roles of social workers during outdoor adventure programs are also discussed.   In conclusion, the researcher had some suggestions make specific individual treatment plans before outdoor adventure programs, social workers should study theories of outdoor adventure programs, and balance their roles with other staff.
