We also analyzed the use and published seasonal words of 「A glossary of words for haiku composers in Taiwan.」 by 小林李坪(KOBAYASI,Lihei), 西岡塘翠(NISHIOKA,Tousui)’s「explanation of Taiwanese haiku」, 「The volume of Taiwanese haiku」complied by 三上惜字塔(MIKAMI,Sekijitou) as well as, 「ゆうかり(Yuukari)volume of haiku」co edited by 三上惜字塔 山本孕江(YAMAMOTO,Youkou). At the second chapter, we examined the background of 「The theory of tropics seasonal words」by 高濱虛子(TAKAHAMA,Kyosi) and the process of it’s advocacy, establishment and elimination. How the 「The theory of tropics seasonal words」was received and accepted in Taiwan is our four chapter, we analyzed the opinions of Taiwanese haiku poets, 山本孕江, 阿川燕城(AGAWA,Enjyou), 王碧蕉(OU,Hekisyou) and 永田青嵐(NAGATA,Seiran)who had lived in Taiwan before. And in our four chapter we studied and examined the connection between 「The materials of Taiwanese haiku」 and 「The theory of tropics seasonal words」, How the word 「a palm tree」 that best represented the material used in Taiwan haiku, that also appeared in 「The theory of tropics seasonal words」,was used in published 『ホトトギス』(Hototogisu)column. In the fifth chapter, we analyzed the word 「a palm tree」that was composed in 「ゆうかりvolume of haiku」and examined how it was symbolized in the use of haiku in Taiwan. In the final conclusion, 「The theory of tropics seasonal words」to the use to haiku word in modern Taiwan, was only the intake of reproduction. Conclusion is that the flower blossom but there is not fruit in the end only the 「徒花(adabana)-blossom without fruit」. In the first chapter of our research, we studied and examined the glossary of seasonal words for haiku in Japan, history of seasonal words and the history of haiku in Taiwan.
