This paper is to design a remote monitor system which is integrated with the embedded system, indoor location, ambient sensing system and motor control system for the multi-function application of the ubiquitous home. The hardware of the designed robot system is based on the DMA-PXA270 development board, the kernel based on the Embedded Linux 2.6.9. Besides, the video-surveillance system and ZigBee indoor location system based on the TI 2430/2431 are included in this paper. Besides, the environment control system is designed by TI2430. The robot can move autonomously in the indoor by receiving multi-sensors.
