The monopole antenna combines a rectangle radiation monopole with the ground that includes an inverted L-shape and a rectangle metals. With the structure of the monopole antenna, it can provide an impedance bandwidth of 2.66 to 5.04 GHz to cover the WUSB operation band of 3.1 to 4.9 GHz. Another study, the dipole antenna which is 1.25λ length for 2.45GHz is also proposed and is embedded five slits on the dipole to become a asymmetrically structure. The dipole antenna has a low band of 2.38GHz~2.6GHz and a high band of 4.67GHz~7.37GHz for WLAN application. The maximum gain of the dipole antenna is 5.37dBi, which is higher than that of conventional dipole antennas.
