Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 車輛工程系所 === 97 === HCCI engine combines advantage of high efficiency of diesel engine with low emission of spark ignition engine. But it is very difficult to control combustion of HCCI engine, which its operating region can not be applied to road driving. In the beginning of the experiment, kerosene is used in a HCCI motorcycle engine where its operating regions are got under knocking limit. In order to observe combustion, the quantity of kerosene and gasoline is adjusted under both fixed engine speed and fixed load, then the gasoline is added under the conditions of fixed engine speed or fixed load. Finally, at fixed engine speed the quantity of gasoline is added while the quantity of kerosene is reduced in order to delay combustion phase and increase the IMEP. Experimental results show the differences between octane number of two fuels, the first-stage heat release of kerosene is obvious, and gasoline is ignited by the delay of high temperature. Under knocking limit and different conditions, IMEP can be increased by 14-24%.
