The designed drive is operating with 10 kHz of switching frequency, speed control range: 50 rpm to 3000 rpm, input voltage: 200 V/AC and output power is 300 Watts.   In this thesis, the mathematical model of permanent magnet synchronous motor is investigated first. Then, the simulation results derived from Matlab /Simulink software are used to confirm the designed vector-controlled drives. Software is implemented using SH7211 based upon the vector control theory. Experimental results show satisfied results for both dynamic response and steady state response.
