Description
Summary:碩士 === 淡江大學 === 建築學系碩士班 === 97 === In Ma-Zu, houses are commonly belt with stones which are collected locally. The reserve of the Chin-Bi traditional village in Bei-Gan is accounted for the most well preservative traditional village of the Min-Eastern style building in Ma-Tsu. In the Chin-Bi reserve, a variety of traditional stone-laid techniques can be found. What is the difference between the traditional Min-Eastern stone-laid technique and constructional methods of buildings which are commonly applied in Taiwan or other areas? Discussing the local traditional technique from processes of the traditional stone-laid technique, methods of techniques and applications in buildings, this kind of local traditional building technique of constructing methods which originated from Fuzhou, China, has been changed slightly. Those changes refer to a different economic environment, different life-standings, sources and masters’ technical skills. As a result, those reasons contribute to a unique local traditional technique method which only belongs to Ma-Tsu. After the national military garrisoned Ma-Tsu, concrete was imported by the military and was widely used in fixing facilities and environment of village reserves. What we want to reserve was the atmosphere of the whole village. However, applying these innovative materials in traditional village reserves may raise a conflicting question—does it improve constructions of the environment in reserves or does it impact the unity of the atmosphere? In this research, the village atmosphere among the Chin-Bi village which is constructed with innovative materials will be compared with the environment which is belt among the traditional technical methods. In the process of improving village environments, in addition to the traditional method of contracting out improving environmental constructions from governments, this research will explore possibilities of developing the environment in the reserve of Chin-Bi village by using a popular method – hiring employees and purchasing materials. Moreover, this research will discuss the opportunities of approaching local constructional methods and representations among the system of contracting out constructions from governments. Finally, the method of “hiring employees and purchasing materials” which seeming has great opportunities of approaching local constructional representations in Ma-Tsu will be discussed as well.
