| Summary: | 碩士 === 臺北市立教育大學 === 教育行政與評鑑研究所教育行政碩士學位在職 === 97 === The purpose of this study was to investigate the current status of the study of teacher personality trait and job stress for the counselors at junior high schools in taipei city. Secondly, we analyze the discrepancies between variant personal variables of the counselors. Finally, we investigate the relation between personality trait and job stress.
This study was used questionnaire method and the subjects were the counselors in 59 public junior high schools in taipei city. The questionnaires 「teacher personality trait and job stress of the counselors at junior high schools」were designed by the researcher as a research tool. Data was examined through SPSS 12.0 using methods of descriptive statistics and inferential statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation. The conclusions are as followings：
1.The counselors at junior high schools in taipei city has fine personality trait.
2.The personality trait of「emotional stability」in the counselors aged over 41 years old are higher than the counselors aged under 30 years old.
3.The personality trait of 「emotional stability」and「conscientiousness」in the married counselors are higher than the unmarried counselors.
4.The personality trait of「emotional stability」in the counselors education degree of master and doctor are higher than the counselors education degree of normal colleges and schools and general university.
5.The counselors at junior high schools in taipei city has slight job stress.
6.The job stress of 「whole job stress of counselors」、「workload」and「approval stress」in the counselors aged with 31-40 years old are higher than the counselors aged over 41 years old.
7.The job stress of「professional stress」in the counselors under 3 years working experience are higher than the counselors over 7 years working experience.
8.The job stress of 「whole job stress of counselors」and「workload」in the leaders of coach are higher than the directors of coach.
9.There is a middle negative relationship between the 「personality trait」 and the 「job stress」 in the the counselors at junior high schools in taipei city.
Conclusions and suggestions of this study are offered for administration agency of education, school, counselors at junior high schools and future researchers.
