碩士 === 國立臺南藝術大學 === 應用藝術研究所 === 97 === Abstract This creative self-introduction comes in 5 acts and records both my life and creative work from 2006-2009. This introduction are mainly written, often starting in the form of short poems or diary entries. These are then followed with sections about my various experiences and attempts to convey certain messages in both life and art. It could be said that much of this has no direct connection to my work, but it is also true that what happens in life sets the tone for any and all creative work. Murmur is a piece that came about as a result of an effort on my part to explain these events and states of mind. This introduction proceeds from the inner world of the artist and although it starts out speaking softly it culminates in a crashing crescendo. “Life,” “Written words” and “Metalwork” occur simultaneously. In future my creative work is unlikely to be as fixed, but rather be more open to constant change and extension without end. In this sense, my works will be infused with even more emotion, including the sentimental attachments that evolve from created objects themselves. Along with this text I also provide a record of experiments conducted in the field of aluminum casting, including some of the provisional results.
