碩士 === 國立臺北藝術大學 === 美術創作碩士班複合媒體組 === 97 === To Recognize and To visualize Images in the Non-Experienced Planet - Discussing the Images in Liu Yao'' s Works Abstract: “To recognize” and “to visualize” are two ways to facing an atlas. One side of the atlas was printed well as we saw. The latter, is always a blank space. With absorption in the consciousness of watching atlas, the observer might be aware of the embodiment of itself. By telling this metaphor, I try to discuss several conceptions about critics in photography and moving images in general situation. And to go deep into the ideology and the identity of mattering images as art in this new era, I try to put my work “Non-Experienced Planet” ,which I still carried on examining. In the thesis, I try to bring up the possibility of thinking in the mode of photographing and cinematographing. With a magnificent attempt to chasing the essence of image (If there was), I propose the idea and the practice of my works.
