| Summary: | 碩士 === 臺北巿立體育學院 === 舞蹈碩士班 === 97 === The “Princess of Austria”（pseunonym）had been attracted to dance since she was a little girl. She had the persistence and passion like a professional dancer, and the Princess had spent almost twenty years to make her dream come true before she entered the graduate program of dance at Taipei Physical Education College (TPEC). From her story, I could see when she needed to make choices or faced the disturbances or threat of melancholia, dance was her first option and gave her energy and power.
As for me, through several face-to-face in-depth interviews, the electronic interviews, and the deep background reading in order to understand the life world of the Princess of Austria and let the story be shown in thick description and interpritation, I’d been from a person who had never thought about how I was to one who could be in the Princess’ shoes and one who was interested in stepping into the journey of the searching for my own life.
Though I wasn’t sure whether the decisions that I left my jobs to pursue a dream were right or wrong, I still wanted to insist the dream of dance. Princess and I might not be dancers, but if is it possible that maybe we could do something about dance, to let more people realize the beauty of dance? We both entertained the expectation.
From our own stories, Princess and I both hoped we could be more sincere and honest to face ourselves in the future, and also hoped that our readers could get some reflections after reading these stories, and start to tell their own stories that will bring them power and energy for the future.
