The valid study subjects were 152 workers cluster sampled from a bank located in the east side of Taipei City. The sampled workers were asked to fill out a questionnaire composed of“Regular physical activity”,“Perceived benefit of physical activity scale”, “Self-report health scale”, and personal basic information. The study has found that most participants are single females and between 26~30 years old. Most participants’ educational level is college or university degree, and their incomes are below NT$32000. Most of participants have worked in the bank for 3 to 4 years. Participants who have kids, most of them are between 1 to 5 years old. Over 50% of participants have joined sports clubs, such as “Yoga”, “Walking” and “Mountain climbing”. There are 32.9% of participants with regular physical activity. The statistical analyses have revealed that “regular physical activity” is significantly associated with the participation in sports clubs. Participants with regular physical activity also get higher score in “Perceived benefit of physical activity scale”. And, participants score higher in “Self-report health scale" if they have fewer barriers in doing physical activity. Generally speaking, this study has concluded that participants with regular physical activity is significantly associated with their joining the sports clubs. And they recognize the benefit of physical activity, such as: keeping good body condition and controlling body weight. Participants with better health condition also have fewer barriers in doing physical activity. Yueh-Guey Huang 黃月桂 2009 學位論文 ; thesis 83 zh-TW |
