Summary:碩士 === 臺北巿立體育學院 === 運動教育研究所 === 97 === Abstract The purpose of this study was to (a) identify the current status of school adaptation and social support of Students’ in Physical Education Class of Taipei Elementary School (b) compare the differences among selected demographic variables on school adaptation and social support of Students’ in Physical Education Class of Taipei Elementary School; (c) examine the relationships among school adaptation and social support of Students’ in Physical Education Class of Taipei Elementary School; (d) analyze the relationships among school adaptation and social support of Students’ in Physical Education Class of Taipei Elementary School by SEM method. The questionnaire utilized for the data collection including (a) demographic sheet; (b) school adaptation scale; (c) social support scale. The sample was 720 students selected from layering random sampling in Taipei twelve area, every area choosing two physical education class of the elementary school, come to twenty-four schools. From the survey returned 662 were coded for students, the valid recovery rate attain 91.1%. The data analysis method includes descriptive statistics, independent sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, canonical correlated and Structural Equation Model were computed for data analysis. The results indicated that (a) school adaptation and social support of Students’ in Physical Education Class of Taipei Elementary School were moderately high; (b) school adaptation had significant difference on gender, grade, teacher’s discipline, coach’s discipline, school achievement, best performance of students’, provide after-class care(school’s subsidiary courses)or not, academic performance after attending athletic class; (c) social support had significant difference on gender, grade, parental discipline, teacher’s discipline, academic performance after attending athletic class; (d) the relationships among school adaptation and social support of Students’ in Physical Education Class were lowly explained canonical correlated positively; (e) school adaptation can predict social support. School adaptation of Students’ in Physical Education Class can affect social support significantly.
