A narrative analysis was conducted on oneself, which is the framework and subject in this research. Psychological analyses were also performed, in order to explore one’s intrinsic reality. Lastly, through repeated reflection, a creation concept, called “Human Dimensions,” was developed to present the process of life. Therefore, the creations are based on the concept of “Human Dimensions” and divided into three series: human dimension series A, human dimension series B, and human dimension series C, to embody the following themes: desire, value, greed, and indifference. A total of 32 art works have been created. The gestaltung concept was constructed after a review of the past creation process and theories related to automatic painting and psychoanalysis. There were several discoveries and gains during the creation process: (1) a mutually influential relationship definitely exists between one’s intrinsic factors, such as physical and mental experiences, and extrinsic factors, such as the social and cultural backgrounds and surrounding environment; (2) the interactions between various thoughts and types of behavior out of free will were comprehended; (3) the uncertainty in interpersonal relationships, as well as the subsequent desire and confusion, was experienced; and (4) the creations faithfully unveil human’s various dimensions after external constraints have been removed. Moreover, the creator’s personal memory and many emotional moments have been incorporated into the art works. Po-Yen Chang 張栢烟 2009 學位論文 ; thesis 74 zh-TW
