Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立陽明大學 === 醫學工程研究所 === 97 === The aim of this study is to integrate one-lead ECG and 3-axis accelerative data to improve energy expenditure assessment. Which wishes to quantify the exercise each day and achieve the goal of self-management.Accurate measurement of physical activity is a prerequisite to determine dose-response relationships between activity and health. The combination of heart rate and mobility holds promise for improving the accuracy of physical activity assessment. The 3-axis accelerometer to estimate energy expenditure is adopted in the study which was developed by Chen in 1997 using the nonlinear model integration methed of 3 axis acceleration for into energy expenditure. We used the relationship between % HR reserve and reserve to calculate energy expenditure. It is expected that combination HR and accelerative signal for improve the accuracy of assessing energy expenditure . A total of 20 men and women (26.75 3.13 yr, 69.00 13.76 kg, 170.40 7.86 cm, 23.65 3.91 kg. ) were recruited for this study. Participants completed three kinds daily activities to verify the analysis outcome. The first kind include walking a three speeds(3.2 km/h,4.0 km/h,4.8 km/h)and jogging (9.6 km/h). The second kind involved climbing upstairs and downstairs. The third kind is to perform sweeping、mopping、cleaning the window. We compare with the guideline of energy expenditure published by ACSM in 2000.In the first kind, the standard error for walking speeds are 0.03 MET,0.02 MET, and 0.28 MET, respectively. The standard error for jogging is 0.47 MET. In the second kind, the standard error for climbing upstairs and dowstairs is 0.70 MET and 0.28 MET, respectively. In the three kind, the standard error for sweeping is 1.32 MET, mopping is 1.23 METs, and cleaning the window is 0.87 MET. The outcome in the study is which the rational range. It reveals that the system can accurately estimate the energy expenditure of daily activities correctly.
