The comprehension of the two elements leads to deeper exploration and analysis of the problems existing in objects. The concept of “life” shares the same logic with the concept of Movement and Silence. Life refers to the process of keeping motion balance through steady circulation, and the increase and decrease of Movement and Silence or the metabolism sustain the whole of life. Therefore, this article is expected to discuss the theories of arts and design, apply the concluded design philosophy as well as the design techniques to the creations based on the concepts of motion and stillness. The initial works are the attempts of applying the concept of Movement and Silence to everyday items as the works were experimented to fit the concept. The works of the latter phase better interpret the concept through the design items of automobiles. Hence, the expectation was made to manifest the values and form of design of the creator through the rivalry and co-existing relation between Movement and Silence. The result is the self-development on the aspects of styling and design techniques. Po-shiung Yeh 葉博雄 2009 學位論文 ; thesis 79 zh-TW |
