There are more and more applications of science and technology emerged out of our daily life in which certainly include global positing systems (GPS) and handheld devices. In this thesis, we design and implement a program for campus touring based on a combination of GPS technology and handheld devices with Windows mobile operating system. When the user takes a walk around a campus with a handheld device, he can see his location displayed on the campus’ digital map and share his current location through short message service (SMS) to other users who also equip with handheld devices as well. Moreover, he can request other users to share their locations to him as well.
