碩士 === 雲林科技大學 === 資訊管理系碩士班 === 97 === Abstract
To maintain basic living and pursue a better living quality, human beings have over-produced and over-consumed, causing serious damages to the ecological system. In the environmental protection of the 21st century, “Green Consumption” has gradually become an important trend. It promotes using “low-pollution, recyclable, and energy-saving” products to reduce the harm of individual consumption to the environment and create a more friendly and sustainable living environment. In the present, many advanced nations have launched the program of green procurement in government sectors and been prepared to promote green consumption nationwide to become the mainstream promoters of green consumption in the world.
In government sectors’ green procurement, their huge procurement power is exercised to buy products that cause less impact on the environment. These government sectors include administrative institutes, state-run businesses, and public schools. The purpose of this program is to encourage production and use of green products and achieve environmental protection.
Schools are the bases of environmental and ecological protection. Through various educational activities, the concept of green consumption can be integrated into school students’ daily life. Besides, green procurement can also be incorporated into important events of each school and effectively implemented.
