Description
Summary:碩士 === 雲林科技大學 === 技術及職業教育研究所碩士班 === 97 === The purpose of this study is to explore the globalization attitude and current global education activity of junior high school teachers. The result of the study will serve as references in terms of implementing globalization education for the authorities concerned and teachers. This study undertook a review of related literature, in order to analyze and understand the related theories of globalization attitude and global education. A questionnaire “The survey of the globalization attitude and global education of junior high school teachers“ is developed to collect research data. The valid research sample totaled 355 teachers, and the retrieval ratio was 88.75%. By applying the stastistical techniques of frequency distribution, percentage, t-test, and one-way AVONA in the data analysis, the results were derived as following: 1. Junior high school teachers generally own an upper-intermediate globalization attitude and global education, thinking highly of the understanding of cross-culture. 2. Though junior high school teachers think they own a proper attitude to accept globalization, yet the content of global education is not mature consquently when teaching. 3. Both male and female teachers have almost the same globalization attitude and global education due to the same opportunity of going abroad and of receiving foreign information. 4. The courses which teachers took in university and college will affect their global education. 5. The popularity of foreign information sets a good foundation for globalization. 6. Senior teachers pay more attention to global issues. 7. The cross-subject coorporation among teachers needs to be improved. Based on the results, suggestions are recommended for teachers, the authorities concerned and future research.
