The research is a questionnaire survey. “Parental expectation, learning adjustment and cognition of career psycho-characteristics of six grade elementary school students in talent learning ” scales is used to be the research instrument. The subjects contain 533 six grade students who are talent learning students as well. All of them are An Cing elementary school students in Yunlin County. By descriptive-statistics, test-t, one-way ANOVA, Scheffe, Pearson product-moment correlation and Multiple Regression, the results are showed as followed. Firstly, most six grade elementary children who have talent learning own more than single accomplishment experience. In addition, they are deeply affected by parents’ expectations. Besides, the parental expectation of the child’s “character and ability” is higher than “school work and achievement”. Moreover, children have better learning adjustments. The cognition of career psycho-characteristics stays high level and intermediate level understandings. It shows a sign that the consistent and inconsistent of these three factors, however it still has improvements to be explored. Secondly, the difference of the elementary sixth grader in talent learning is listed below. Girls are superior to boys in learning adjustment and cognition of career psycho-characteristics;children are obviously affected by higher educated parents in parental expectation and learning adjustment. Besides, children who participate in non-academic talent and skill courses have better than those who participate in academic curriculum in their parental expectation, learning adjustment and cognition of their career psycho-characteristics. Thirdly, the parental expectation, learning adjustment and cognition of career psycho-characteristics of sixth grader in talent learning have positive correlations. Moreover, the parental expectation and learning adjustment have positive influences on children’s career psycho-characteristics.
