Description
Summary:碩士 === 元培科技大學 === 放射技術研究所 === 97 === Thermoluminescent detectors (TLD) have widely been used as a popular tool in the field of radiation measurement. In particulary, LiF:Mg,Cu,P family TLDs have several advantages in similar human tissue equivalent, linear feedback of absorbed dose, simple annealing procedure and stable TL response than the other types of TLD. Expect the Bicorn Company that has a huge market share of in past decade, a new LiF:Mg,Cu,P TLD has also developed by DML group (China) which named GR-series. This study performed the common characteristics of TLD for ionizing radiation including energy dependence, dose and dose rate response, heating rate dependence, angular dependence, repeatability response and fading effect for TLD manufactured by the two manufactories. The behavior of experimental results for GR-200 and TLD-100H had shown similar responses at all common characteristics. However, it could still be observed a little difference between two detectors in detail, such as GR-200, althought with hypersensitivity, was unstable than TLD-100H for high energy photon. This study provides some useful information of the two kinds TLD for the radiation measurement in clinical or in research works.
