Description
Summary:碩士 === 元智大學 === 企業管理學系 === 97 === In 1980s, Taiwanese manufacturing industry made a large of foreign investment due to environmental change and internationalization. The whole industry pays a lot of effort on applications for IP (Intellectual Property). However, the value of R&D (Research and Development) input lowers than output. That means Taiwanese industry relies on developed countries’ achievement, and need to enhance the invention of industry standard. The trend of IP roadmap claims our attention in the future. Prior R&D internationalization studies mainly contributed to the knowledge of the developed countries, but only minorities of the literatures explore developing countries. Most of thesis studies investigate by static path method. This research expects analysis from integration of cross-sectional and longitudinal methods. Find the difference of the path and overall profitability is main research purpose. The outcomes of this study area follows: (1) Taiwanese manufacturing industry prefer main land china and South East Asia to establish R&D subsidiaries. These subsidiaries focus on technology transformation and local customization. (2) Companies apply cost oriented path almost belong to information and electronic industry. They are practiced in cost decrease and product development, hence the IP property tend to process innovation, which were higher substitute.; Companies absorbed developed countries’ technology cause the lower technology substitution. (3) Companies which adopt innovation oriented path were acquired higher performance.
