Description
Summary:碩士 === 元智大學 === 機械工程學系 === 97 === The mobile shelving storage system can effectively utilize the operation spaces of information storage. Traditionally stationary shelving storage needs an aisle to go with a set of storage shelving. To efficiently use the space, the planning and design for the mobile shelving storage system is more important. When engineers from the Automated Storage System Division of Chun Yuan Steel plan the field layout for a light-duty mobile shelving project, they often use engineering graphics software to simulate the field conditions and determine the specifications of shelves. General engineering graphics software is too complicated for beginners or senior engineers, and it is difficult for them to learn the software in a short period of time. In addition, the 2D engineering graphics software currently used in the company cannot express the conceptions of planning clearly, and may easily lead to an oversight and omission. This is an apparent problem in Chun Yuan Steel Industrial Company, where the majority of employees are older. This study develops a set of parametric planning tool mainly for the light-duty mobile shelving. A Solid Works 3D graphics software was firstly introduced to replace the Auto CAD 2D graphics software currently in use, so that the functions of automatic drafting and planning can be achieved through the aid of standard drawing files from the Solid works and VBA parametric control. The output of the system are electronic drawing files, which replaces the traditional faxed copies. Practically implementation of the “parametrically automatic planning software” proves to be successful for the Automated Storage System Division of Chun Yuan Steel in planning for the light-duty mobile shelving project. The goal for this study is achieved.
