Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立勤益科技大學 === 工業工程與管理系 === 98 === This research is based on the Theory of Constrain (TOC) provided by Goldratt (1986) to find out the problem of the Ready Mixed Concrete Industry systematically. The first phase utilizes the System Thinking Process tools of the Theory of Constraints to find the bottlenecks and core problems including Conflict Resolution Diagram, Current Reality Tree, Future Reality Tree, PreRequisite Tree and Transition Tree. According the System Thinking Process, four proposals are provided to improve the process and guide the practitioners to have the right action, to have better achievement, and to solve the project better. The second phase of this research applies Five Focusing Steps for On-going Improvement Process provided by Goldratt (1990) to analyze the possible constrains and difficulties in executing the four proposals and more improving suggestions can be provided for the RMC industry to improve the delivery performance and reduce the variance of the concrete. In the dissertation, the System Thinking Process of TOC and Five Focusing Steps for On-going Improvement Process were introduced in the real case of RMC Industry, and via the systematic analysis and the execution of improvement action plans, the results showed that as far as the four items of operation time were concerned, namely, the RMC truck’s average time of going to the construction site, the average waiting time at the construction site, the average time of going back to the factory, and each construction site’s average overall time of completion, were improved conspicuously, and the RMC industry’s distribution achievements were elevated.
