In this study, marital intimacy, division of housework, child care, family and work to understand the interaction of the commuter families face the risks and the strategy adopted; analysis of the possible advantages of the two families, as well as the two couples in the family on gender differences in family roles. In this study, semi-structured qualitative interview method, interview five different families, five male commuters and five female. Three main results are follows: First, the commuter families on different period of time, the families become separated shorter than a year eager to return to normal family life, women in decision-making among the wives increase limited; as the families become separated for more than five years expressed the need for adaptation and adjustment to return to normal family life. Second, the advantages of the commuter families, the the commuter families have sufficient economic resources to prepare, do not worry about the additional expenditures required for phone costs as well as commuter transport costs may cause financial pressure; separated before the long-term stability of married life, the cumulative emotional foundation so that the commuter families reduce distrust of marriage; children understand the work away from home because the father, willing to meet his father''s home time to adjust the timing of holidays, not only to reduce their children''s sense of loss, but also to reduce family stress. Third, the family reunion, the public sector from the government has created a special platform for the private sector to re-adjust the deployment of integral formula; the families can’t be reunited, the media to strengthen advocacy and increase the existing services of the commuter families services program, so that the commuter families be more satisfied with their family life.
