However, it still had “Fengyuebao” which was published under a special space and time. “The New Women” was one “Fengyuebao” which gradually appeared during the era of Japanese occupation. “The New Women” and the entire society created a big change. “The New Women” observed the female imagination during this time. Our thesis mainly takes the female as our subject. From the vernacular novels in “Fengyuebao,” we can see how women lived compared to men . By analysing different vernacular novels in the Japanese era, we can see how women''s lives evolved.
