For simulating the gain and absorption media in the amplifier, we use the Lorentzian dispersive medium model to develop the numerical model of the amplifier. The piecewise-linear-recursive-convolution (PLRC) method is used to numerically solve the model equations. We inject the fundamental mode and non-modal light bullets into the amplifier, respectively, so that the evolutions of the light bullets in the gain and absorption media can be studied. From the evolution of the non-modal light bullet, the transient effect of the light bullet in semiconductor laser amplifiers can be more understood. Wen, Sen-Far 溫盛發 2010 學位論文 ; thesis 42 zh-TW
