The microstructure and characteristics of CNTs and CNT coatings were observed by field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) and Raman spectroscopy. The sheet resistance of metal coated glass and CNT coating was investigated by post-treatment and four-point probe method. From FE-SEM, it was observed that the diameters of multi-walled carbon nanotube was ranged from about 10 nm to 50 nm. Raman spectrum shows two stronger peaks at about 1347 cm-1 and 1579 cm-1 indicating the formation of multi-walled carbon nanotube. The Ratio of sp2 (G-band) and sp3 (D-band) of multi-walled carbon nanotube was about 1.07, showing that the used MWNT has high graphitization. In sheet resistance mesurement, it was found that the result was not obvious both on the specimens with adding the coating layer of CNT and the specimens with post-treament. This is because platinum coated glass and platinum-indium coated glass has good electric conductivity. It was found that field emission performance can be enhanced by using the static electricity adhesive tape on Pt/In/CNT glass. Turn on voltage(Eon) drops from 7.07 V/μm to 5.38V/μm .
