Summary:碩士 === 中華大學 === 應用數學學系(所) === 98 === This study was designed to understand the collecting motives of pupil at elementary schools and to explore the motivational factors of collection. First of all, this study used exploratory factor analysis (EFA) to analyze the pupils’ motivational factors. Then, we analyze the differences between the motivations and the satisfaction from pupils’ backgrounds. This study used the questionnaire method to collect data. The pupils of elementary schools in Kaohsiung ciunty take part in this activity as survey samples. 220 surveys were conducted for a valid rate of 91%. The analyzing method included descriptive statistics, factor analysis, T-test, and one-way ANOVA(using Scheffe post test for significance). The conclusions of this study were as following: 1. With understanding collecting motivation of Elementary school pupils, this study determined eight dimensions of motivation including cultivation of character, tolerance, unique preferences, sharing of joy, parade, increasing benefit, external encouragement, and motivation of consciousness. 2. This study used T-test to analyze each factor of motivation which showed significant effect among cultivation of character, sharing of joy, and parade between girls and boys. Furthermore, four dimensions, including cultivation of character, tolerance, parade, and increasing benefit for elementary school student at different grade, were significant. 3. With one-way ANOVA , the ranking of all sibling, the results of study, amount of pocket money, the kinds of collection, initial stage of collecting, and cost, would make significant differences in collecting motivation.
