Description
Summary:碩士 === 正修科技大學 === 資訊管理研究所 === 98 === This study proposes to sample the franchising systems in Taiwan for investigating the relationships among their dyadic intellectual capital, across boundary management, knowledge creation, and knowledge creation effectiveness. The above efforts are to achieve the following goals: (1) Constructing the dyadic intellectual capital framework for the franchising system, (2) Ensuring to employ Boundary Spanning Theory to construct a KC model, (3) examining the relationship between dyadic intellectual capital and knowledge creation (4) testing the causality between knowledge creation behaviors and its effectiveness. As for the model construct, DIC is constructed by (1) Human Capital (Knowledge Complementary, Communication Similarity), (2) Structure Capital (Co-production, Organization Routine), and (3) Relational Capital (Trust, Social Tie). The KC Model, based on Boundary Spanning Theory, is formed as four elements, Community, Documentation, Mentoring, and Proposal. The KC Effectiveness is measured by (1) Exploration and (2) Replication. This study proposes to sample the top management and employees from 700 franchising headquarters in Taiwan for the empirical survey. This study provides a new insight toward the knowledge management issues in the franchising context and thus tests the practicability and sustainability for the application of IC, RMT, and Boundary Spanning on the KM issues.
