Summary:碩士 === 中臺科技大學 === 文教事業經營研究所 === 98 === The purpose of this study were to understand the professional development and job satisfaction perceived by child care providers, to compare the differences of background variants of professional development and job satisfaction, and to examine the correlation between professional development and job satisfaction. The participants were selected from child care providers in Taichung City and the questionnaire which applied the professional development and job satisfaction of child care providers was delivered to 360 child care providers and 333 child care providers returned the questionnaire and became the samples of this study. The effective retrievals is 92.5%. Moreover, this study has applied descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s product moment correlation and LSD Post-hoc Test to analyze the data. The major condusions were listed as follows: 1. The perceptive professional development of child care providers in Taichung City showed a level of upper-intermediate. 2. The perceptive job satisfaction of child care providers in Taichung City also presented a level of upper-intermediate. 3. There were significant differences in the perceptive professional development of child care providers in Taichung City in terms of educational background, the number of children entrusted to the care providers, the total monthly income and the annual on-the-job training hours of each child care provider. 4. There were significant differences in perceptive job satisfaction of child care providers in Taichung City in terms of the age, working experience, educational level, the number of entrusted children to the child care providers , the total monthly income, and on-the-job training hours of each individual child care provider. 5. There was a positive correlation between the professional development and job satisfaction of the child care providers in Taichung City.
