The system was integrated using MSP430F149 to acquire the signals of ECG. The sampling rate of ECG was 200 Hz. The signal was real-time displayed on the TFT LCD of the device. After analog to digital conversion by MSP430F149, the signals could be transmitted real time to the receiving point through the ZigBee wireless transmission system. With user interface created by Boarland C++ Builder at the receiving point, the received signal could be displayed and saved through USB. The user interface could read and display signals stored in the computer and also show the total time and the total amount of data received. This study discussed the amount that transmitted under the conditions of different distances, different space, and the different densities of ZigBee router by using four methods of measurement. The transmitted rate of data was 55.58% when the density of ZigBee router was 0.84 per 100 square meter. And the rate increased to 98.05% when the density was 1.07 per 100 square meter. Therefore, the study concluded that the quantity of ZigBee routers was positively correlated to the penetrability of bio-signal data transmission within a fixed space.
