碩士 === 大葉大學 === 管理學院碩士在職專班 === 98 === The main purpose of the study was to understand the relationship between leisure participation and the well-being for retired teachers. In addition, to analyze the differ-ences in demographics in these areas, and to discuss the relationships between them. The research tool was questionnaire entitled “the questionnaire of the leisure participa-tion and the well-being for retired teachers”. The subjects were retired teachers from public junior high school or elementary school in the central region of Taiwan. There were 550 questionnaires sent out by using convenient sampling method, and 527 were returned. There were 494 valid questionnaires with a retrieval rate of 89.8%. The data were analyzed by used SPSS for Windows 10.0. The findings were: 1. The leisure participation for retired teachers was below the average. The well-being for retired teachers was below the average. 2. There was a significant difference on Retired teachers’ leisure participation among different retired year number, state of health and housing situation. 3. There was a significant difference on Retired teachers’ well-being among different state of health and every month obtained. 4. Retired teachers’ leisure participation degree compare high, there’s well-being feeling degree generally more satisfied Finally, provide useful information to the administration institution and future study base on the findings.
