ArchC, a SystemC-based architecture description language (ADL), is employed to derive an optimized application specific architecture and the corresponding application codes, as well as the assembler and simulator. The influence of ISE on memory hierarchy has been investigated based on applications such as Sha, Dijkstra, and Djpg.
